Whats happening everybody? After our Florida adventure at the Purple Hatters Ball and Funky’s in Destin, the hardworking members of Flow Tribe take a little time to party in our own backyard at Bayou Boogaloo this weekend. This awesome free festival takes place on the shores of  Bayou St. John in New Orleans. Mid City will be popping all weekend so take advantage of the beautiful weather and come get ya backbone cracked in the process. We’ll be going on after the legendary D.J. Jubilee who we performed with back in the day AND which you can watch right here. Good times. Flow Tribe hits the stage at 6:45 on Saturday at  the nola.com stage. See ya out there!

What it is, and also – what it is? Good news: we had a great time @ Dockside Stuidos and we can’t wait to lay these nasty, nasty tracks on ya. It was an amazing experience and we would like to thank Steve and Wish from Dockside along with John Snyder, Dave Farrell, and Bill Summers for giving us their time and talents. Here’s some more good news: we’re heading this weekend to Florida to crack backbones at Purple Hatters Ball in Live Oak (2:15pm) and Funky Blues Shack in Sandestin (10:00pm). Its gonna be great to make some new Flordia pals and meet up with the old Destin crew as well. What more can we say? Check it out, get ready, cause we’re on a gravy train with biscuit wheels and we’re pulling into the station. Holla!

Greetings and salutations! Your favorite band of backbone crackers head to Dockside Studios this weekend to deliver our next funk baby. You may be wondering if this is a repost or that somehow we had forgotten that we had already recorded in Feb. Well truth be told we had to cancel our last scheduled date at Dockside due to unforeseen circumstances. Since that time we grinded it out during Mardi Gras, killed it at SxSW, and tore up Tulane. Battle tested and road burnt, the Tribe now sets its sights on laying it all down on wax. Fellow travelers, we shall embark to Dockside and return with nothing less than a solid gold record (literally we’ll be dipping records in gold). Joined in our journey by legendary producer John Snyder and percussion master Bill Summers we are psyched to show ya what we’re working with! Once again thank you for all your support and to everyone who donated to our Kickstarter account to make this a reality. We’re really proud of the work we’ve put into this and we know its going to be something worth listening to till ya brain explodes. Holla!
