What’s happening family? The Tribe is gearing up for our debut performance at French Quarter Festival this year. We  couldn’t be more excited to funk it up as a part of one of our favorite festivals. It’s the largest free festival in the South, ya heard! So yea, we gots to get wild. We go on Friday at 2pm at the Old U.S. Mint Stage, right at the end of Esplanade Ave. This Saturday we will also be playing a very special event for a truly deserving cause. We’ll be playing the Soldier Salute Festival in Jacksoon, MS being held at Martin’s Bar. We’re joining with great artists like Dumpstafunk, Good Enough For Good Times, Lyrics Born, Boombox and others to honor those service members who put their life on the line so that the rest of the country can go to the mall. Seriously, we can’t thank them enough. For more information on this awesome event, check this link: http://www.martinslounge.net/

Whooo wee, we’ve been having some fun! After mixing it up in Austin and Shreveport, we decided to head East and mingle with our brothers and sisters in Georgia and Alabama. Nothing could be more fun than invading the ATL than doing it with our good friends in Big Sam’s Funky Nation! That show was a blast and got the ball rolling for the rest of the trip. Two packed shows in Birmingham and Auburn the next two nights proved the Tribe was onto something in Bamaland. Its been wild month and Lord knows things are just getting started with French Quarter Fest right around tha corner…                                                  .
